Shooting Events Schedule
Thursday August 26th
10 a.m. to noon Ladies instructional on guns of the old west. The single action revolver, lever action rifle and double shotgun. Live fire instruction included.
1:30 to 5:00 p.m. Team shoots & Run what ya brung. Wild Bunch Side Match – one stage. 1911 and one single action, lever action rifle, pump or double shotgun
Friday August 27th
8:30 a.m. – Mandatory Safety meeting around the campfire. 9 a.m. to noon Shooting event, 3 main stages 1:30 – 3 p.m. Shooting event continued. Free range time permitting.
Saturday August 28.
9 a.m. to noon Top 10 Men’s & Ladies shoot off 1 to 3 p.m. Long Range Events Long range pistol. Long-range lever action pistol caliber. Long Range Big Bore
Shooters will participate this year using the "posse" system. Personal firearms may be brought and used during the event. However, pump action shotguns will not be allowed (except for Wild Bunch). The only allowable caliber’s will be .45 Colt and .38 special. Ammunition will consist of soft all lead bullets. Velocities for the handgun may not exceed 1000 feet per second. Rifle ammunition may not exceed 1400 feet per second. Shotshells for the double-barreled shotguns will be no larger than # 6’s, no magnum loads. Commercially loaded "cowboy" ammunition is acceptable. Firearms and ammunition will be provided for those who wish to use them.
Eye and ear protection is mandatory for all persons at the range. No exceptions.
